I’m Carole Anne and you are hopping around with the Global Stamping Friends and Happy May! I’ve been a Demonstrator for a little over two years and I LOVE love Stampin’ UP! It’s a gorgeous day here in Northern California, not too hot and not too cold…perfect day with a nice breeze. I’m not a hot weather person and it sure gets hot here in the summer when I retreat to the coast or in my air conditioned studio. I still love living here, my kids were born here so it’s home to them. I’m originally from the east coast of Canada in the province of Nova Scotia. It’s beautiful there so add it to your bucket list. Cape Breton Island is a must see!
The Theme of this BLOG HOP is “Sorry You’re Leaving” and I’m sorry that the beautiful Falling in Love Designer Series Paper is leaving us. I loved it so I showcased it in my card today which is a fun fold. I used the gorgeous Beautiful You Stamp set which is continuing in the New Annual Catalog, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla Cardstock with Falling in Love Designer Series Paper (retiring so get it now!). You can substitute another Designer Series Paper and change the color of the cardstock, it’s a versatile design. All project items are listed at the bottom.
I hope that you like this card and if you want instructions, subscribe to my Newsletter and the instructions for this card will be up over the weekend. Thanks so much for visiting me in Northern California!

Beautiful card and yes love that DSP here as well – kept a secret pack just for me and I’m very glad because it sold out fast in Australia
Thanks Courtenay…I kept a stash too!
Amazing project; I’m going to miss that DSP but am so glad that the lady is staying. I love your card design and may just need to CASE it! Thanks for joining in.
I haven’t done much with the lady but I loved that DSP. I really have to cut the DSP up and use it! Great Blog Hop, thanks Sarah!
Love the special way your card is folded. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you 🙂
Such a very chic card! I love cards with Very Vanilla, but I forget to use it, so it’s nice to have it as a base for a DSP so I can remember. Thanks for sharing 😀
Thanks Kimberley! Now there’s going to be lots of Very Vanilla with the heavier cardstock for a base!
Beautiful card and I love your fancy fold. So glad that Beautiful You is not retiring but this paper is so pretty and I really would have been quite happy to make a few more projects with my stash!
Thanks Rachel! Let’s make a ton of projects with that Designer Series Paper this month!
Beautiful card. I think this stamp set went way too fast 🙁
Thanks Jenn. The stamp set is staying but the Designer Series Paper is going the end of the month! Grab it while you can 🙂
