Here is the Global Design Project #GDP008 CASE (Copy & Share Everything) and my first time entering a card with the GDP. The “Case the Designer” is Kylie Bertucci and the Global Design Project is #GDP008 and I was inspired initially by the large circle so I built my card around that. I made a smaller banner for the sign and a vellum banner across the card.
I absolutely LOVE the Snow Place Photopolymer Stamps and Snow Friends Framelit Dies so I decided to make a wicked CASE using this bundle. The list of supplies is a bit long but I had them all at my fingertips — so tonight I just had a lot of fun making this card. It truly makes me happy to look at it…or chill as the card says and they seem like they are dancin’.
How cute are these snowmen?! I’m in LOVE! Being a Stampin’ UP! Demonstrator I’m lucky to have so many supplies at my fingertips and my creativity flowed tonight. My focal point started with the circle in Kylie’s card and as you can see I have a big circle with snowmen inside. Using Shimmery White Card Stock, I stamped the snowmen with the new Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad. The stick arms were stamped with Chocolate Chip and the Candy Cane was stamped with Real Red. The larger snowman uses a candy cane for a walking stick, a darling scarf made with the 1/8″ real red and white striped ribbon (you can see the candy cane color theme right?), buttons are Home for Christmas Enamel Dots, the gorgeous Black Glimmer Paper was used for the hat and it’s trimmed with the 1/8″ red and white striped ribbon. The little guy is ready for winter with ear muffs with the adorable Real Red Pom Pom Trim…how cute is that! Tangelo Twist Stampin’ Right Marker gave those carrot noses a little color.
The vellum banner is embossed with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and embellished with Rhinestones–I love those Rhinestones! You can see a few Rhinestones scattered over the Winter Wonderland Designer Series Paper.
The little guy is holding candy cane with a sign on it that says “Time to Chill”. I used my Embossing Buddy first, then stamped with Versa Mark, quickly sprinkled on Heat & Stick Powder and turned up the heat with my Heat Tool. Then I quickly sprinkled on Silver Stampin’ Glitter. The edges were just too plain for me so I put a little Tombo glue on my Silicone pad and dipped the sign in the glue and then in the glitter. That turned the little sign up a notch.
Dimensional are my friend and they are used all over this card as well as a few glue dots. This card is fun to look at, fun to make and it’s for a special person.

Carole, this card is AMAZING! So many tiny details and elements – what a work of art! So glad you could join in the Global Design Project this week!
Thank you Jess. I did notice that my card was a wee bit out of the box when compared to the other card and that made me smile. I’m going to join in again.
Very cute and very Christmassy! Love the take on Kylie’s card. Thank you for playing along with the Global Design Project challenge. Louise xo
Thank you…
I love your candy cane colour scheme and those cute wee ear muffs on the little snowman – genius! So many details! I see something new each time. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week.
I had so much fun with this card. Thank you for noticing.
What a clever idea to make the sentiment into a sign that the little snowman holds. Such a beautiful card! Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s Global Design Project CASE the Designer challenge.
Thanks…it’s a bit unusual when compared to the other cards but I was going for a twist on the CASE. I’m new at entering challenges and I’m happy that you noticed my card.
