…and the second challenge entry is Stamp Ink Paper Challenge SIP32Â Tic Tac Toe. This one is new to me but it sounded fun!
InCASE you haven’t heard what CASE means in the stamping world — it means Copy And Selectively Edit. I love the designer Connie Collins’ card, it’s beautiful and sparkles.  I decided to play along and I was inspired to create my card with the Valentine theme, the crisp horizontal lines and the glimmer of the hearts.
The second entry is for a Tic Tac Toe Challenge with Stamp Ink Paper. I picked the Heart, Pink and Bling! Here’s my entry for the challenges…
It Glimmers, Sparkles and Shines…How did she do that you ask?
I used Pool Party and Blushing Bride cardstock and I rounded the corners for softness. The Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper is perfect for the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies and I cut it with the Percision Plate. It’s the perfect center piece for my card. Â The Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit has been sitting in my basket begging to be used so I spilled it out on my design table…what next? Â Hmmm…I need horizontal lines but I didn’t want to use DSP so I took a look at the NEW Pool Party Glitter Ribbon and a light bulb went off. I cut it in lengths just a bit longer than the width of the cardstock and poof, horizontal lines!
I flipped the cardstock to the back and ran a strip of Fast Fuse down the side. I then placed each piece of ribbon along the side at measured intervals.
I ran another strip of Fast Fuse down the other side, then turned the cardstock over to the front. I brought the ribbon across in a straight line and secured it to the Fast Fuse strip.
   Voila…horizontal lines!
What else can I use from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit? The satin ribbon, pearls and the sequins. Perfect. Tie the bow, trim nicely, cut a strip of pearls and get a little bit of Blushing Bride Sequin Trim. Wait to attach.
I wanted something soft for the sentiment. I took a scrap piece of vellum, dusted with my Embossing Buddy and stamped Love You with White Craft Stampin’ Ink. I quickly covered it with Iridescent Ice Stampin’ Emboss Powder and embossed with my Heat Tool. I love the way it turned out. I used the Large Numbers Framelits Dies banner with the Big Shot. You could use any banner die that you have or fussy cut for the same effect.
I didn’t want a flat banner so I got our my Paper Piercing Tool, Stampin’ Pierce Mat and went to work. Here’s a photo of the process…I pierced through the Vellum and the Glimmer Paper, held it in place and inserted a Candy Dot Brad and close it in place. So cute! You can see in the photo that I picked a decent size spot to pierce. This is actually a photo of the second piercing…sounds like I’d not be good at piercing my ears! Anyway, pierce the first side close to the edge and then bring it in slightly so the banner is not flat and attach the brads. Hope that this makes sense.
Adhere the Blushing Bride cardstock to the Pool Party card with Fast Fuse, then adhere the Pool Party cardstock with Fast Fuse. Love that product but remember to snap to the left after your run it, then to the right on the next run to keep it clean and working smoothly. Â Next, I put lots of dimensionals on the back of the heart, strategically cut a few to get in the smaller areas. Adhere to the card.
Now, let’s finish this card. Adhere the sequin trim with a glue dot, adhere the pearl strand with a glue dot and then adhere the bow with a few glue dots.
Attach a few Blushing Bride and white sequins to the card using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen – another product I love. What can I say, all the products are wonderful!
I still felt like the card needed a little more glitter so I added a few rhinestones to the white sequins. I think that’s it…I covered everything. I hope you like the project and it inspires you to create something wonderful.
