It’s a fabulous rainy day here in Northern California and I love it!  We head into the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco tonight to see the musical Finding Neverland, it’s on a US Tour. A young man by the name Tyler Patrick Hennessy plays the part of Jack and Michael; he is part of our Ygnacio Wood Swim Team Family and we can’t wait to see him in the musical tonight. If this play comes to your neck of the woods, go see it!

Do you recognize this wreath? Remember let year when we made the Season to Season Wreath with three banners? Christmas, Fall and Halloween banners came with it. If you don’t remember, there’s a photo below. It was a great project and I keep my wreath hanging on the door of my studio. Even if you don’t have this project, you can add a simple banner to any wreath…well, maybe not any but quite a few.

Photo from last year’s catalog.

I made a quick little banner for last year’s Season to Season Wreath. It took just a few minutes to change the banner from Christmas to Valentine’s Day…so easy! I used the stamp set Sealed with Love, stamped Happy Valentine’s Day using Real Red on a piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock and I cut out the heart shape using the Sweet and Sassy Framelits. I stamped a few more smaller hearts from the Sealed with Love stamp set on Blushing Bride Cardstock and cut those out using the smaller hearts from the Sweet and Sally Framelits. I always like a little bling, especially for Valentine’s Day, so I used Red Glimmer Paper, cut more hearts and cut the arrow from the Love Notes Framelits using Gold Glimmer Paper. Look at my previous Heart Wreath Post to see the adorable little envelopes. Look further back on my BLOG and find the little Monster Card, he’s holding a string of hearts that I stamped from the same bundle called Sealed with Love, the raised hearts on the side are from the same bundle and it’s a die cut so easy peasy…love it and it’s not just for Valentine’s Day. Wait…I’ll just pop in a photo so you don’t have to look back.

Yummy Yummy I’ve Got LOVE in My Tummy

Just to show you how versatile that bundle is, look how cute this card is!!! It could be a baby card, get well, happy birthday…lots of possibilities.

Back to this posting…I want you to see how easy it is to change up a wreath! I added a little red ribbon to hang from the door. I hot glued the hearts across a piece of White Baker’s Twine and it’s a Valentine’s Day Wreath. I hope that you enjoyed this little twist on making a wreath last through the seasons. If you didn’t do the Season to Season wreath, you could add a banner to a number of wreaths to change them to whatever season we are in.  What’s next…St. Patrick’s Day!!! My hubby was born in Dublin Ireland so I’d best make sure I’m wearing the green for St. Pat’s. He tells me that we celebrate it more than they do in Ireland…I find that hard to believe 🙂
