My name is Carole Anne Patterson. I am a daughter, wife, mother, volunteer, un-domesticated Goddess, quilter, crafter and companion of a cute Havanese named Hazel. I am not defined solely by any of those titles–they are all hats that I wear at any given moment.
I love being creative–it lifts my spirits and fills my soul, when combined with great music, my Havanese Hazel curled in my studio and I can get lost for hours! I lost my beloved Havanese Frodo, he was my velcro puppy for 10 years, and while Hazel doesn’t replace Frodo, she’s a lovely little companion. Naughty and crazy in love with everyone, especially my hubby.
I love fabric… I started sewing as a young girl and my love of creating hasn’t stopped, it ebbed and flowed through the years but being creative makes me happy. I love to make quilts–I just love the look of fabric, guess I’m a collector of fabric just like any quilter. It may sit for awhile on my shelves but I love to look at it, fabric is art and it makes me happy. I’ve made quilts for my kids, for school’s auctions, for our beds, for the sofas, for the walls, for anywhere I can fit any size quilt. Someday there’ll be grandkids to make quilts for…
I also love working with paper products and I make cards for all occasions. I decided to help my hobby pay for itself — I started to work as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator! I’m having a great time and truly I love to teach others how to make cards and paper crafts. I hold card-making parties that are a great opportunity to learn something new in a fun environment. I’m starting to branch out so you never know where I’m going to turn up next.
Here are my fur babies – Gunny and Hazel…both are Havanese and are so cute and funny. They are my constant companions and I call them velcro pups because wherever I go they go. They also work for treats and let me know when UPS is delivering–loud and clear!
